RV Slidout mystery

The owner stated the slidecwas working normally. I discovered the slide motor was not connected. The wire that connected to this was hidden under the wall several feet away from this connection.

Once I found the wire and connected it, the slide worked! The mystery is, who disconnected the motor and who hid the wire under the wall.
